Did you ever spend time setting something up and then at the last minute, blow it. That's what happened in this photo. I set the camera up to take a half second exposure of a small water falls and covered bridge. Composed the shot, used a two second timer so as not to interfere, had it on a tripod. After all the preparation I was dumb enough to bump the tripod at the moment of exposure. Needless to say I cursed myself under my breath before setting everything up again to make sure I did get the shot I wanted. One of those glad nobody was looking moments.
Forgot about it until I got home and was viewing the photos of the days endeavers. Then this monstrasity poped up. Once again I thought, man am I stupid at times. Then something struck me as I looked at it. I found that I liked the photo. Has a sort of natural beauty to the color with out definate form. Maybe its just me, but I do find myself drawn to the photo. I just enjoy photography for the sake of my own self expression I guess. So maybe my mistake is just another side of my photography. I guess I am saying if you can't do it right, at least enjoy what you can do.
